Hello !

Rumours persist (probably put about by a person with their own agenda) that Jam Night is coming to an end – It’s not ! !   So don’t listen to this malicious gossip ! ! !

Jam Night will be on this week and for the forseeable future.  Jam Night is on – Every Thursday.

Hope this is crystal !

Hello !

Just a quickie on things which may or may not be of interest !

Jam Night is on tonight at the Middlesex Arms, so hope to see you there.

I’ve recently added a few bits and pieces to the IOW page and also to the Football page – so have a look  !

Cheers,    Rob.

Jam Night

Hello !

There’s a brief Jam Night up-date now on the Jam Nights page, imparting further information, regarding refurb work and how Jam Night will be affected, as I understand it at present.  I will post any more developments as and when I hear anything.

Also, anyone who was at Jam Night last night may well have noticed me walking round with my video camera, the results of which can now be viewed by all and sundry. Please click on Photos & Videos to savour the latest footage from last night’s Jam Night.

"Long Live Jam Night"

Hello everyone.

Jam Night was good last night, wasn’t it  ! ?   You weren’t there for the first one of 2011 ?  Shame on you !

Anyway, amidst rumours of an impending demise of our popular weekly Thursday Jam Night at The Middlesex Arms, I’ve posted an up-date on the Jam Nights page to keep everyone informed.

For the uninitiated, just click on Jam Nights to access the Jam Nights page. Easy innit ! ? !  You can then have a good read of the up-date,  and at the end of it all,  you’ll be safe in the knowledge that Jam Night is still up and running – Every Thursday … Long Live Jam Night ! !

So, see you at next week’s Jam Night – Don’t know what all the fuss was about – eh  ! !

BFN,   Rob.

Jam Night is back !

The first Jam Night of 2011 takes place tonight !

Yes, Jam Night returns to The Middlesex Arms, South Ruislip tonight after a short festive break.

As usual it all starts at 9.30pm.  Everyone’s welcome, so hope you can make it.

See you there.

BFN,  Rob.

Happy New Year everyone.

There’s a wonderful celebratory New Year’s video clip that I’ve just added to the site.  Click on Photos & Videos and then scroll down until you come to it.

Don’t forget, Jam Night at The Middlesex Arms starts again on Thursday 6th January, so don’t miss the first one of 2011 !

Have a great new year celebration.

Cheers,   BFN,    Rob.

Christmas Greetings

It’s that time of the year again and doesn’t it seem to roll round quicker every year ?  So, to all of you who have logged on to my website over the past year,  Merry Christmas.

There’s a Christmassy video clip now on the site, so click on Photos & Videos to view it.

For Jam Night information over the Christmas period, see the Jam Nights page.

If you’re in Eastcote on Friday 17th December, I’ll be appearing at The Black Horse, doing one of my solo gigs, so please drop in !

Anyway, have a great time during the festive period and enjoy yourselves ! !

BFN,   Rob.

No, the Government haven’t found an answer to the country’s financial problems.  A peace solution for all the conflicts in the middle east hasn’t been found.  Local authorities haven’t been able to clear the recent snow to enable transport systems to once again flow freely.

Is it an LP or a CD ? It's an Album !

No ! The breaking news is … I’ve just started on a brand new solo LP.

Hmm ! ?  LP  !   That has a sort of vinyl ring about it doesn’t it ! ? !   OK, to be accurate, it’s a CD.   Mind you, I lke vinyl LPs … I like CDs too.  But which is better … ? Perhaps to generalise,  I should  refer to it as an album !

Anyway, this breathtaking news may come as something of a shock, considering my last solo effort was released back in 2003, following five years of hard graft.

I’m optimistic that this new project will take months rather than years but at this stage I’ve no idea as to how long it will take.  So far, I’ve only got as far as throwing a few basic ideas onto ‘GarageBand’ on my computer, so we’ll have to see how things progress as I go about developing my rough ideas in the coming weeks.

On the ‘live’ front, I will be playing solo at The Black Horse, Eastcote on December 17th … See Gigs page for details.

BFN,   Rob.

Hello !

Rob 'Live'

Just a quick reminder that I will soon be playing my first solo gig for nearly six months, due to my well documented knee problems. It’s next Saturday 20th November at The Six Bells in Kingston – see the Gigs page for details ! It would be really nice to see as many of you as possible for my ‘comeback’ appearance and my first showing at a new venue.

So, what else has been happening recently ?

Thursday was Jam Night as usual at The Middlesex Arms in South Ruislip.  It was a little bit lighter on numbers than usual but a good time was still had by all those who were there. Don’t forget to check out the Jam Nights page !

Last Friday was ‘staying in’ night with the intention of going out on Saturday night instead.

On Saturday, I was going to see ‘A & E’ , that’s Andy (Locke) and Ed (Hamilton ) to the uninitiated, who were playing at The Six Bells, Kingston, no less !  However, I was struck down with a migrane so had another ‘staying in’ night.

Oh well that’s enough excitement for now. Hope to see you at next Saturday’s gig !

Cheers,   BFN,   Rob.
